DIY Easter Portraits for Pups

My dog and I play a fun game together. I call it "Treats for Pictures." Around every holiday I bring out some colorful props, a tripod, a handsome doggy bowtie, some extra special treats, and we head outside to take pictures. It's a fun way to practice those training cues outside, with a world full of distractions, and get those extra precious pictures to share with your dog's dog-aunts, dog-uncles, and dog-grandparents.

Are you ready to try this with your fur-baby?

All you need is:

  • Plastic Eggs

  • Easter Basket

  • High Value Treats

  • A Good Quality Camera

Head outside, place your props out in the grass (or near some lovely spring flowers), and throw some treats around the props. While your pup is sniffing around for a tasty tid-bit, you can call their name to get those beautiful, soulful eyes captured in each shot. Don't be afraid to play around!
